Hello, how are you doing?

This is Ines, the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of the Jeunessima Magazine.

Here are the weekly lifestyle delights I had shared in my newsletter in June 2017.

Join the newsletter to discover my latest discoveries, tips, and ideas that help you to enjoy life more … every day … at any age.

It’s Not Fat, It’s Fascia …

… claims Ashley Black, the inventor of the Fascia Blaster, in her book The Cellulite Myth that I’m just reading.

Apart from promoting herself and her products a bit too extensively for my taste, she has a few very interesting points about cellulite and a huge following that proves that her teachings work and actually do get rid of cellulite … in addition to having other health benefits.

Adding an Immune System Booster to Coffee …

… is always a good idea … at any time of the year … and at any age. Even though I wouldn’t recommend the following for kids.

Earlier this year when I had brewed some chaga mushrooms in my slow cooker via water extraction, I didn’t throw out the mushrooms once the water wasn’t able to extract much of the goodness anymore.

I put them into a glass, added some rum and put it all in the fridge.

Adding some chaga to your coffee boosts your immune system & protects your DNA

Now, I’m adding about a spoon full to my morning coffee to give my immune system that little extra boost and be super healthy … in addition to protecting my DNA and loads of other benefits that keep me young.

Exercise for a Longer Life …

The length of your telomeres is an indicator how quickly you age.

A Titanovo study shows that people who do anaerobic exercises like weights or high-intensity interval training (HIIT) tend to have longer telomeres.

Not so aerobic exercises. Another reason to ditch long cardio sessions and spend a little time building your muscles.

An Audiobook I’ve Just Finished …

… is the novel Blackout from Marc Elsberg.

It’s a great techno thriller that could actually happen to us today.

Unfortunately, the audiobook is only available in German so far (as are Marc’s other novels 🙁 ) but you can read it in English. 🙂

Great book to add to your reading list.

Quote I’m Reflecting on …

Embrace the glorious mess you are – Elizabeth Gilbert

Thanks for reading!

Have fun … stay young,
Ines
