Hello, here are some of the things I’ve discovered for you, enjoyed, pondered, done …
Enjoy the sun …
I love spring time … especially the sun. It has such amazing healing powers.
It’s the sun that helps your body to create the vital Vitamin D that puts you in a good mood, boosts your immune system, fights infections and reduces your risk to get cardiovascular diseases or cancer.
But there is more.
Research now shows that sunlight also helps your body to create nitric oxide, which keeps your memory sharp, regulates blood pressure and so much more. And … it helps you to live a little longer.
So, what more reasons do you need to get out and enjoy the sunshine? Even 10-15 minutes every day make a huge difference to your life.
Giving your look that special extra …
On Sunday I had gone to a Wine Lunch Party. To protect myself from the sun (yes, too much sun is not good) … and … to give my otherwise simple outfit that little extra, I put on a hat.
That made all the difference. You can’t imagine how many compliments I got.
Try it yourself the next time you go out.
Less stress …
I’ve been meditating on & off since I’m 19 (chronologically 😉 ). But even though I spent a whole month in an Indian ashram where we meditated twice every day, I never knew how well I really meditated.
So, I go myself a Muse, the best consumer brain-sensing (EEG) device/software around.
To my surprise it took me only 4 sessions to get from 15 to 85% calm :-O
An article I read …
… is Maker’s Schedule, Manager’s Schedule from Paul Graham.
While it’s not a new article, it rang very true with me.
Too often we’re creating manager’s schedules cutting our days into half-hour or hour slots and fill them with meetings.
And we never seem to get around to focusing on creating new things … or on doing the things in our business that we’re really passionate about.
We don’t allow ourselves makers’ schedules.
It’s time to change that and give ourselves permission to create space for the things we love, in business (and in our private life). At least 2 or 3 half-days a week! No guilt!
Your mood, the people around you … and your business will thank you!
Quote I’m reflecting on …
Success isn't just about what you accomplish in your life; it's about what you inspire others to do
